The mission of the Hawaii Economic Association (HEA) is to promote public awareness and understanding of economics and to support the professional growth of its members by providing a forum to discuss Hawaii's economic issues and to interact with other professionals. The Hawaii Economic Association (HEA) is managed by the Honolulu Association of Business Economics, a 501 (c) 3, non-profit organization. All checks should be made payable to HEA.
HEA members represent a wide variety of Hawaii industries. Members receive a number of benefits. From discounted event registration to special members-only events, become a member for only $40 annually.
We welcome full-time students, who work no more than part-time, to attend our Monthly Events for FREE. To further support economics education, we award at least one student scholarship each year at our October Conference.
